We are delighted to announce that we sponsored and presented at this wonderful event last week for local primary schools.

The Tunbridge Wells Junior Enterprise Challenge is an event now in it's third year, with 15 teams from primary schools in the local area competing over three days for the title of Enterprise Champions. The students are given a project brief and they have to work as a team to create and market a product. On day 3 they hold a trade fair and deliver presentations to a panel of judges. They also learn some basic marketing skills, make a TV advert, create and deliver a presentation based on market research! The winners this year were The Wells Free School for their winning entry of BATTLE.

This is our second year sponsoring and speaking at the event. A fantastic three days and it's incredible, if terrifying, to present to these kids and hear their ideas. Their questions were far more insightful, and interesting, than the average questions at a Digital Marketing conference. My sumo wrestling analogy actually went down quite well for once!

The event is going from strength-to-strength, this year being featured on BBC News, and Tunbridge Wells MP Greg Clarke coming along on the final day. This really is an incredible event, the students learn so much while really inspiring the supposed adult experts in the room. It couldn't be done without Salomons Estate hosting and Beechwood Sacred Heart School and all the teachers and staff involved in setting this up. Also, personal thanks to Rebecca Smith who has been essential in getting this event going from scratch.

Unfortunately BBC South East are not great at opening their archive of content on iPlayer or YouTube, but here is a grainy video of the event being featured on the news:
